The Kansas Shrine Bowl has announced the rosters for its 37th annual senior all-star football game to be held July 31, 2010, in Pittsburg, Kan.
This year, each school was allowed only one player on the Shrine Bowl roster. This is a change from past years when schools were allowed two players. In all, 68 players were selected from more than 400 nominations.
This year the East will look to snap a four-game losing streak to the West. It is the longest such streak either team has had since the Shrine Bowl began in 1974. The West team leads the all-time series with 22 wins to the East's 13 wins. One game ended in a tie.
The rosters are listed below. The coaches earned their chance to coach in the game based on how their teams fared in the state playoffs. Head coaches are chosen by the coaches from the previous year's game.

ROWLETT SPECIAL TEAMS COMES UP BIG
0 Ratings / 0 Comments
The Rowlett Eagles and Sachse Mustangs entered Friday night’s football game knowing that the winner advances to the playoffs. Eagles senior punter Cameron Frosch and Eagles JV kicker Nick Bruno would be forced into action after starting placekicker Chase Thrasher was unable to play due to injury.
Eagles senior DB/kickoff returner Tyler Chase answered Sachse’s first drive touchdown with a little magic of his own. Chase received the Sachse kickoff at the 20, hit the hole and 80 yards later brought the score even at 7.
Senior punter Cameron Frosch was perfect on the night with four extra points and a 31 yard field goal that what would later prove to be the difference in the game in the 31-28 win. Frosch continued his normal duties of punting with a monster 4.25 second punt in the first half that the Sachse returner fumbled and the feisty Rowlett special teams coverage gobbled up on the 10 yard line. Rowlett would score a touchdown a few plays later.
Eagles kicker Nick Bruno would later find himself making a touchdown saving tackle as the Sachse returner sliced through the Eagles to mid-field. Rowlett will face their biggest game against the Skyline Raiders in the first round of the playoffs next Friday at Mesquite Memorial Stadium.
