The Kicking.com Combine series offers kickers, punters and long snappers a unique opportunity to showcase their talents in four separate divisions based on your grade level for the fall of 2008.
- College (Seniors, College Transfers, Junior College and College Eligible)
- Varsity (Juniors)
- Jr. Varsity (10th grade)
- Freshman (9th grade and below)
The Kicking.com Combine Series is a schedule of competitions at 3 levels: Regional, Semi-finals and Finals. It is through multiple rounds and testing under pressure that help to gain experience and to prove consistent performance. These results will help College Coaches evaluate talent.
In order to advance to the next level you will need to be one of the top participants in only one of the skills in which you perform.
In partnership with Active Recruiting each Semi-Final competition and the Super Camp is filmed and hosted online at Active Recruiting, this will enable College Coaches to view players anytime, anywhere, kick by kick and frame by frame with perfect clarity, from the convenience of their offices. There will not be a better place on the Internet for coaches to see you kick and punt! Now that's recruitment in fast forward...
GAME PLAN
- Consistent and organized format based on NFL style workouts
- Get valuable experience competing in pressure situations against players in your division
- Hosted by top Kicking and Punting Instructors (Associates) in the country
- This Associates create a valuable Network for College Coaches
- Strictly merit-based competition
- Regional events where top performers will advance to the Semi-Finals
- Semi-Final events where top performers will be invited to the National Super Camp
- National Championship Super Camp January 2009 in Texas.
- Active Recruiting hosts video of every event online, posted within 10-14 days after event
- Allows coaches to research players, view video and results
- Breaks down video kick by kick and frame by frame
- College scholarships have already been awarded to athletes seen on Active Recruiting
REGIONAL EVENTS - $160
- One day event competing in Field Goals, Kick Offs, Punts and Long Snapping
- Opportunity to attend a weekend kicking camp offered by our Combine Associates (additional costs will apply for weekend camps)
SEMIFINAL EVENTS - $265
- One day event that will include a morning instructional "Mini-Camp" and an afternoon combine event.
- Similar competition format as the Regional event
- Every kick, punt and snap will be filmed an posted to Active Recruiting
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SUPER CAMP - $425
- To be held in Texas in January of 2009
- Finals by invitation only; must qualify at one of the Semi-Final events
- Players may compete in any event
- All of the Combine Series Associates will be present to provide a comprehensive first class learning experience
- Seminars by experts in strength training and mental preparation
- Preliminary Round similar to Regional and Semi-Final rounds
- Each kick, punt and snap to be filmed and posted on Active Recruiting
- Head to Head tournament style event to determine Champions.
- College Division Kickers will be required to kick off the ground and use a 1" tee for kickoffs
- Finalists in each division will receive awards and recognition
- Winners in all 16 groups will also receive prize package from Wizard Kicking that include: Easy Football Holder, Ground Zero Tee (1" or 2"), Wizard Kicking T-shirt, and a football (Kids Spalding J5V or 1005 NCAA Game Ball). This is worth over $100
- Results sent to all Colleges
HIGHLIGHTS
- Results will be distributed to Scout.com, Rivals.com and ESPN.com
- ONLY COMBINE MEMBERS will have the opportunity to be included in Rainmaker Magazine – the ONLY kicking, punting and long snapping magazine publication. Rainmaker Magazine will land in the hands of every college coach and recruiting coordinator in the country. "If you perform well, they will see it!"
